Newly crowned African champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria, will hold a trophy parade in Abuja on Monday, according to DAILY POST.
The team, led by head coach Justine Madugu, clinched their record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title on Saturday with a thrilling 3-2 win over Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses.

The Super Falcons and their officials are expected to arrive at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, by noon.

Later in the day, they will be hosted at the Presidential Villa in Aso Rock by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The team will ride in an open-roof bus through major parts of the capital, proudly displaying the trophy to fans. The parade route includes Airport Road, Berger Junction, Maitama, and Wuse Market, ending at the Presidential Villa.
Fans are expected to come out in large numbers to celebrate the team’s historic achievement, with top government officials and key sports stakeholders also expected to attend the reception.
