Inter Milan manager Simone Inzaghi has broken his silence on speculation surrounding his future at the club following their crushing 5-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

The defeat marked a historic low, as Inter became the first team ever to lose a Champions League final by a five-goal margin.

In the wake of the embarrassing result, Inzaghi has been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, who reportedly see him as their top managerial target after parting ways with Jorge Jesus earlier this month.
Addressing the rumours, Inzaghi said he intends to meet with Inter’s board in the coming days to discuss his future.
“It’s not the time to talk about my future. We will see in the next days. I will meet with Inter first and we will assess the situation together,” he told reporters after the match.
Al Hilal have reportedly tabled a lucrative offer to lure the Italian to the Saudi Pro League, aiming to have him in place before the FIFA Club World Cup, which kicks off in June. The Saudi giants are set to face Real Madrid on June 18.
Since taking over at Inter Milan in 2021, Inzaghi has guided the club to one Serie A title, two Coppa Italia trophies, and three Supercoppa Italiana victories.
