Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has praised Paris Saint-Germain for their commanding performance in the UEFA Champions League final, claiming they “suffocated” Inter Milan with relentless pressing.

Speaking to TNT Sports, Ferdinand highlighted PSG’s intensity and tactical superiority during the match held at the Allianz Arena in Munich on Saturday.
“PSG dominated the game. They suffocated Inter and pressed them,” Ferdinand said.
“From the word go, PSG pressed the life out of them. They had players in killer mode today.”

The French side ran out 5-0 winners, thanks to a brace from Desire Doue and goals from Achraf Hakimi, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Senny Mayulu.
Ferdinand called the display one of the most commanding performances he has witnessed at this level.
“It’s an astonishing performance in a game of this magnitude. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such dominance at this stage,” he added.
The emphatic win sealed a historic treble for PSG under manager Luis Enrique, capping off a stellar season for the Parisian club.
