Barcelona risk running into trouble with LaLiga over the registration of Marcus Rashford ahead of the new season.
The reigning Spanish champions have reportedly reached an agreement to sign the Manchester United forward on a season-long loan with an option to buy, and an official announcement could come as early as Wednesday.
However, according to Sky Sports, Barcelona’s persistent financial difficulties may prevent them from registering Rashford under LaLiga’s salary cap regulations.

To make room for the England international, the Catalan club would need to offload players through sales or loans.
Earlier this summer, Barcelona missed out on signing Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao for similar reasons, as they couldn’t guarantee his registration.
