Chippa United, a South African Premier League club, is set to cash in on goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali this summer.
Nwabali joined Chippa United from Nigeria’s Katsina United three years ago and has since established himself as one of the top goalkeepers in the South African top flight.
The 28-year-old was linked with a move away from the club last summer after his impressive performances for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire. However, he signed a new three-year contract and was appointed captain of the Chilli Boys.
