Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has sealed a surprise transfer to Premier League rivals Arsenal in a deal worth £5 million.
The Gunners triggered Kepa’s modest release clause to secure the Spaniard as a backup option to first-choice keeper David Raya.
Kepa becomes Arsenal’s second Spanish signing of the summer, following the arrival of midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

The 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Bournemouth and was widely expected to depart Stamford Bridge permanently.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal on X, stating:
“Kepa to Arsenal, here we go!
Deal done for the Spanish goalkeeper to join #AFC as new backup for David Raya.
