Well-known Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham, has explained why she had to chop off her hair in order to appear in one of actor Muyiwa Ademola’s films. She also describes how her husband reacted to actor Ademola’s request.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Mr LilGaga during an interview, she disclosed that actor Muyiwa Ademola called her husband to plead with him to allow him to shave off her hair so that she could fit in the movie role he wants her to play in the movie.
In her statement, she said, “When Muyiwa Ademola sent me the movie script, I loved it, and I asked him if I should shave off my hair to fit in the movie character. He told me that he actually wanted to tell me to shave my hair but that he does not know how to tell me. I told him that I will shave the hair but that he should call my husband and seek permission from him. Despite the fact that my husband loves to see me with my natural hair, he’s also aware that I will do anything for Muyiwa Ademola and my job. Muyiwa Ademola called my husband to beg him to allow him to shave off my natural hair. My husband said there was no problem, and he said that I can shave off the hair.”
