Nigerian track sensation Tobi Amusan made history on Sunday at the Rabat Diamond League in Morocco, delivering a stellar performance in the women’s 100m hurdles.
The 28-year-old blazed through the finish line in a season-best time of 12.24 seconds, shattering the previous meet record of 12.51 seconds set by Brianna McNeal. Her dominant win marked her first major victory of the 2025 season, following earlier fourth-place finishes at the Xiamen and Shanghai Diamond League meets in May.

Trailing Amusan was Nadine Visser of the Netherlands, who secured second place with a season-best 12.67 seconds. Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska finished third, also with a season-best of 12.69 seconds.
