Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has sparked speculation about his future after suggesting he may be leaving the Saudi club.
The 40-year-old forward took to Instagram following his goal in Al-Nassr’s final match of the Saudi Pro League season, writing: “This chapter is over. The story? Still being written. Grateful to all.”

While Ronaldo stopped short of confirming his next move, he made it clear he’s not retiring from football. He has been linked with a return to his boyhood club, Sporting CP, as well as a possible move to Major League Soccer.

His departure would come after two and a half seasons at Al-Nassr, during which the team failed to secure a single trophy. They ended the season 13 points behind league champions Al-Ittihad.
