Remo Stars clinched their first-ever NPFL title with a narrow 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes in Ikenne on Sunday, thanks to an 84th-minute goal by Olamilekan Adedayo.

With this victory, the Sky Blue Stars became the first privately owned club to win the league since Julius Berger’s title in 2000.
