A man claiming to be the father of singer Ahmed Ololadebutik, better known as Asake, Mr. Fatai Odunsi, has appealed for assistance from Nigerians.
According to online reports, the rapidly rising singer left behind his father, who was paralyzed following a stroke, and images and videos of his sick father are circulating on Twitter, now known as X.
The singer’s father is soliciting funds from the public so he can take care of his deteriorating health. Some sources claim that Asake’s father was a deadbeat and had abandoned him when he was a child; other sources claim that his father was very present in his life and it was his mother who now showers love on him that abandoned him.
