Well-known Nigerian Fuji musician Alhaji Taye Currency has discussed the relationship between himself and his senior musical colleague, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, as well as the influence Pasuma has had on his career to date.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Akede Ariya Online TV during an interview, he made it clear that Pasuma is his boss and that his fans should stop abusing him, saying that he paved the way for him in music.
In his statement, he said, “Pasuma and I are not fighting each other, we understand ourselves better than people think. His fans have been bullying me online, and my fans are doing the same to him. Pasuma is my boss, his fans should stop abusing me, he paved the way for me in music.”
Gossipinfo news recall that Taye Currency has made headlines after issuing a public apology to his boss, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, for a comment he made about him.
In the clip that surfaced online, Taye Currency who hailed from Ibadan stressed that people misinterpreted what he said about Pasuma while on stage as many do not know the actual story between him and Pasuma.
Based on their story, Taye Currency before he breaks into prominence in the Nigerian fuji industry used to refer to himself as Taye Paso because they sing the same way. Tayer is Arabambi 3rd, while Pasuma used to be Arabambi 2, and K1 De Ultimate used to be the actual Arabambi.

Speaking in Yoruba, Taye Currency also known as Baba Honourable utters; “Egbon mi ni Paso, ko to mi bi.”
