Newly appointed General Manager of Kano Pillars Football Club, Ahmed Musa, has pledged to help the club regain its former glory.
Musa’s appointment was officially confirmed by the Kano State government last Saturday. The Super Eagles forward, who featured for the team last season, made a strong impact on the pitch—scoring 10 goals in 23 league appearances for the Sai Masu Gida.

Despite his contributions, Kano Pillars endured a disappointing campaign, finishing ninth in the NPFL and falling short in the President Federation Cup.

Speaking to the club’s media, the 32-year-old expressed his determination to turn things around, while calling for unity among stakeholders.
“I want to assure everyone here that, with your support and the backing of the board members, I will do everything possible to reposition the club and make it one of the finest not only in Africa but globally,” Musa said.
The four-time NPFL champions have already begun preparations for the 2025/26 season, with Musa now leading efforts to revive the club’s competitive edge.
