Veteran Yoruba film actor Olalekan Adebayo has revealed the guidance he received on his career choice from a herbalist he met in a hamlet. Additionally, he claimed that his work as a filmmaker has helped him to secure his own future.
During an interview, he gave a video that was uploaded to the official Kunleafod TV channel on YouTube. In the video, he revealed that he had a conversation with a herbalist in a village. The herbalist advised him that in order to be a successful person in life, he should also become a herbalist.
“I came from a poor family, but I discovered myself with the talent that God gave me,” he added in his statement. “I took responsibility for my own life.” Another herbalist advised me that if I want to be successful in life, I should pursue a career in herbal medicine. I was selected from the film business to be one of the individuals who would go to a village in order to put an end to those who were selling our films in an unlawful manner. It was during this trip that I had the opportunity to meet the herbalist, and he provided me with the rules that will help me achieve success in my career as a herbalist.p
