Veteran actress Jumoke George has cried out to Nigerians over her financial, health, and personal battles.
In an interview with Biola Bayo, she revealed that she has been homeless for 5 to 6 years and has been living in her church. According to her, her church’s pastor’s wife has been feeding her.
The movie star further opened up on her deteriorating health as she revealed that she has been in and out of the hospital since January 2nd, and now she is in debt. She said her son has borrowed up to 2 million for her sake, and to make it worse, she has to undergo a brain and heart test and doesn’t have the money.
She also claimed that her first child, a girl, has been missing for four years, and she has been the one taking care of her daughter’s children.

A friend, Adetunji Dolapo sent me Bolaji Amusan, President of Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association Of Nigeria (TAMPAN) Mr LATIN’S contact inbox.
And immediately I introduced myself and chatted him up, he forwarded Madam Jumoke George’s contact to me via Whatsapp.
I called Madam Jumoke George and we spoke. I told her how much we love her that she should drop her account details, that she’ll get a few millions from a friend through me.
And so in collaboration with Spear News , my brother and friend, the anonymous donor credited my account with the sum of N5,000,000 (five million naira only) to support Madam Jumoke George, the Nollywood actress who is in distress but I could only transfer N4,500,000 as my daily limit has been exceeded.
She acknowledged the receipt in the voice note she dropped on Whatsapp.
Her prayers were deep and touching.
Thank you always, my brother and friend. Thank you, Spear News and thank you everyone who showed concern and love. Thank you, Marufah Motunrayo Muhammed for your relentless effort to get me her contact too. Same to Àpóstélì Onès Kayode.
All done in less than two hours. God is good but He doesn’t live among us. He however has His representatives among us.
