Manchester United have officially revealed new squad numbers for several players ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
In a statement published on the club’s website on Friday, United confirmed that academy talents Tyler Fredricson and Chido Obi will sport new shirt numbers this season.

Defender Fredricson, who made his Premier League debut against Wolves in April and also featured against Brentford, has been promoted from number 55 to 33 following his strong performances last term.

Chido Obi, who joined from Arsenal’s Academy last November, will now wear the number 32 shirt. The 17-year-old previously wore number 56.
The announcement follows earlier updates that Diogo Dalot will take the number 2 shirt, while new signing Matheus Cunha has been handed the iconic number 10.
Other young prospects have also received updated numbers, with Shea Lacey set to wear 61, Bendito Mantato 70, and Reece Munro 65.
