Manchester United have confirmed that their winter signing, Patrick Dorgu, will wear the number 13 shirt for the club.
Dorgu’s arrival was officially announced on Sunday morning, following weeks of speculation surrounding the 20-year-old defender. United had been in lengthy negotiations with Serie A side Lecce over the transfer fee, ultimately securing the deal for just under £30m.
The versatile wide player, brought in to providlb Ruben Amorim with a regular option at left wing-back, was unable to make his debut in Sunday’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace. However, he did make an appearance on the Old Trafford pitch before the game, alongside fellow new signing Ayden Heaven, proudly showcasing his number 13 shirt.
