Manchester United suffered another home defeat on Sunday as Brighton & Hove Albion triumphed 3-1 at Old Trafford.
The visitors took the lead within the first five minutes after a long ball from Carlos Baleba sent Kaoru Mitoma through. Mitoma squared the ball to Yankuba Minteh, who had an easy tap-in to give Brighton the early advantage.
Bruno Fernandes equalized from the penalty spot midway through the first half, but Brighton regained the lead just after the hour mark when Mitoma tapped home at the back post. The match was sealed midway through the second half, as another costly mistake from goalkeeper Andre Onana allowed Georginio Rutter to score the simplest of goals and put Brighton 3-1 up.
