Manchester City have announced the signing of Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens, marking the 20-year-old centre-back as their first acquisition of the January transfer window.
Khusanov, who could become the first player from Uzbekistan to feature in the Premier League, joins the club for a reported fee of €40 million (£33.6 million). He has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until at least the summer of 2029.
