The Brazilian forward was forced off during Sunday’s clash and has since undergone medical tests. In an official statement, the club confirmed the 24-year-old has suffered a sprain to his left ankle, though no timeline has been given for his return.
“Following tests carried out today on our player Vinicius Jr. by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a sprained left ankle. The outcome is pending,” the statement read.
