Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has responded to speculation of a falling-out with his players following their Champions League exit.
Reports from Relevo suggested that the Los Blancos dressing room is growing increasingly distrustful of Ancelotti. It also claimed that some players had approached club president Florentino Perez to voice concerns about the Italian’s tactics after their 2-1 Champions League quarter-final defeat to Arsenal.
However, Ancelotti firmly denied the rumors, insisting that any talk of a rift is false.

“I’ve spoken with the players and the club, and we’re on the same page. We’re hurt,” Ancelotti said in a press conference on Saturday. “These are things that can happen in football; you can’t always win. We have the same idea. We haven’t had any clash with the club because we’re always in the same boat.”
He added, “Anyone who talks about a clash with the president isn’t telling the truth.”
Despite the Champions League disappointment, Ancelotti’s side remains in the hunt for the La Liga title and the Copa del Rey. However, should they fail to secure silverware in either competition, the 65-year-old manager is expected to leave the club this summer.
