Kunle Afod, a well-known Yoruba actor, has talked about how he met his wife, Desola Afod, and what transpired on their first day together. He also mentioned how her brother’s visit to his film set led to their meeting.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Oyinmomo TV during an interview, he made it clear that Desola’s brother came to learn film making in his theatre group, and he later met Desola when her brother brought her to his movie location.
In his statement, he said, “My wife knows what she likes about me, but the most important thing is for couples to see themselves as friends. Most men have too much ego because when a man allows a woman to do what makes her happy, it is more likely that the family will benefit from it. Akeem, who happens to be the elder brother of Desola, came to register with my theatre group, and when he told his sister Desola that he met me, she couldn’t believe it, and she decided to come with him the next day. Desola’s brother brought her to my movie set, she fell in love with me immediately she saw me. She was very happy, and she gave me a hug that day, and that was how everything started between us.”
