Jurgen Klopp’s agent has firmly dismissed growing rumors suggesting that the Liverpool manager could leave his current position to take over at Real Madrid.
Recent reports from Brazil claimed that Klopp had become disillusioned with his role as Red Bull’s head of global soccer and was open to a return to management, potentially with the Brazilian national team or Real Madrid. The rumors gained traction after it emerged that Madrid were preparing to part ways with Carlo Ancelotti following their Champions League exit to Arsenal, with Klopp specifically named as a potential replacement.
However, Klopp’s agent, Marc Kosicke, quickly responded to the speculation, telling Sky Sports Germany that Klopp is content in his current role.

“Jurgen is very happy with his new position as head of global soccer at Red Bull,” Kosicke confirmed.
While it’s reported that Klopp has received several offers to return to management, he is not interested in taking on a new coaching role next season, including with Madrid or Brazil.
As for Madrid, their attention seems to be elsewhere. Former player Xabi Alonso, currently managing Bayer Leverkusen, has been identified as their top choice to succeed Ancelotti. Madrid officials are reportedly keen on securing a reunion with Alonso in the coming weeks, with the hope that he will be in charge by the start of the Club World Cup this summer. However, any move will require negotiating with Leverkusen, where Alonso is contracted until 2026.
