Well-known Yoruba actor Adeniyi Johnson has disclosed why he was hesitant to enter the Yoruba film industry when one of the veterans invited him In addition to discussing how he has been with the pressure of filmmaking,

In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Kunleafod TV during an interview, he disclosed that he was afraid to join the Yoruba movie industry because he heard a rumor that their actors die frequently.

In his statement, he said, “I was on a movie set when I got a phone call from my father, and I spoke with him in the Yoruba language, and my production manager on the movie set said he would like to feature me in a Yoruba movie. I was afraid to join the Yoruba movie industry because I heard their actors usually die. He persuaded me to join the industry, and he told me that the death rumors aren’t true, so I decided to give it a try, and since then I have been in the Yoruba movie industry.”

In another post It is the 6th wedding anniversary of Nigerian power music couple Adekunle Gold and Simi.

Taking to her Instagram page, Simi shared clips of them over the years as she noted how it has been 6 years of blissful union. The mother of one noted how Adekunle still makes her laugh.
