Well-known Yoruba actor Olu Olowogemo, better known by his stage name Mr. Portable, has disclosed some of the reasons he stopped starring in films. He has also mentioned the amount of money required to make a typical film these days.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Oyinmomo TV during an interview, he disclosed that he stopped acting movies because he is currently broke and that he could no longer afford to invest in film making.
In his statement, he said, “There was a time when my friend Segun Ogungbe and I could not afford three hundred thousand naira to produce our own movies, so we had to stop movie production. I stopped acting movies because I’m broke, and I can’t afford to make movies anymore. I like to produce quality movies, and I spend a lot of money on movie productions; that is why my movie soundtracks are always top quality.”

He further stated that 95% of men that comes to a woman comes because he want to get something from her, he want to enter the place and so they will always act nice towards her, some do not call their wife at all, but he will call the new girl all the time and she will think he is nice.
