KRC Genk forward Tolu Arokodare has shared his thoughts on his emotional debut for Nigeria, according to DAILY POST.
Arokodare made his first appearance for the Super Eagles in last month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda. Following the match, the 24-year-old was seen in tears in the dressing room, overwhelmed by the significance of the moment.
Reflecting on the experience, Arokodare said, “It’s what every footballer dreams of, to represent their country. I have no words, I was so overwhelmed and incredibly happy, especially for my dad, because I know how much it meant to him.”
