Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has revealed that former teammate Sergio Ramos is his ideal captain, describing the legendary defender as a natural-born leader.
In an interview with Canal Plus, the French forward praised Ramos’s commanding presence both on and off the pitch.
“My dream captain? Sergio Ramos,” Mbappé said.
“He has the soul of a captain — he was born to be one. In the dressing room, on the pitch, the aura he carries… even if you don’t give him the armband, it will find its way to him.”

Mbappé and Ramos played alongside each other at Paris Saint-Germain for two seasons, appearing together in 51 matches. Ramos departed PSG in 2023 to return to Spain with Sevilla.
Mbappé, meanwhile, completed a high-profile move to Real Madrid in 2024, joining the Champions League winners on a free transfer after opting not to renew his contract with PSG.
