Nollywood actress Tawa Ajisefinni has decided to share her struggles and tries for five year due to childless

In a recent interview with City People Magazine, Nollywood actress Tawa Ajisefini shared her emotional journey of waiting five years for a child after getting married.

The thespian, who is also known as Monkele, revealed that she had faced crit!c!sm and pr£$$ure from social media users, with some even calling her b@rr£n.

However, she remained steadfast in her faith, knowing that God would answer her prayers.

The actress credited her husband’s support and understanding, saying that he was confident that they would have a child.

Tawa’s husband, who has two children from a previous relationship, was a rock for her throughout the waiting period.

The actress revealed that she would often get frustrated and tease him about his two children.

“I will shout at him ‘So, you don’t want me to have my own children because you have 2 already?’ He will just laugh and say ‘Tawa, calm down, don’t worry, God will do it’,” Tawa said.

She also shared that her husband would ask people who questioned him about when she would get pregnant, “Wh£n are you g0!ng to d!£?” (To shüt them up)

Tawa Ajisefini welcomed her first child in 2024, after five years of waiting.

Talking about when she discovered she was pregnant, the movie star said in parts; “I was on a movie set and I started feeling somehow, I was running Temperature. I called my husband and he asked me to go to the hospital for a check up but I didn’t go because I never thought it was even pregnancy.”

She expressed gratitude to God for answering her prayers and also thanked her husband and in-laws for their support.

The actress, who had previously worked as a personal assistant to Funke Akindele, also spoke about her decision to keep her v!rg!n!ty until marriage.

Tawa revealed that she was motivated to keep her v!rg!n!ty after hearing a sermon by an Imam when she was 15 years old.

The Imam had said that any girl who keeps her v!rg!n!ty until marriage will have God’s mercy and her mother will also make it to heaven.

Tawa Ajisefini has been in the movie industry since 2003 and has featured in several films, including “Okun Ife Yi” and “Opin Ireti”.
