Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, facing multiple charges of rape and sexual assault.
According to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), the 32-year-old has been charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault relating to alleged incidents involving two women between 2021 and 2022.

Partey, who recently departed Arsenal following the expiration of his contract in June, was formally charged just four days after leaving the club.

The Ghanaian international, currently residing in Hertfordshire, is accused of committing two counts of rape against one woman and three counts of rape against a second.
His lawyer, Jenny Wiltshire, stated that Partey “denies all the charges against him” and is looking forward to “the opportunity to finally clear his name.”
