Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed he will take an extended break from football once his time at the club comes to an end.
The Spaniard, who has led City to 18 trophies—including six Premier League titles and a Champions League crown—has a contract running until 2027, which he signed last November.

Speaking to GQ Spain, the 54-year-old confirmed his intention to step away from the game to focus on his personal well-being.

“I know that after this stage with City, I’m going to stop. That’s certain,” Guardiola said.
“It’s already decided—more than decided.
I don’t know for how long: a year, two, three, five, ten, fifteen… I really don’t know.
But I need to take a break and focus on myself, on my health, and on my body.”
Guardiola has been at the helm of Manchester City since 2016, overseeing one of the most successful eras in the club’s history.
