Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has revealed that he has known West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus since the player’s time at Ajax.
Maresca made the comment while sidestepping questions about Chelsea’s reported interest in signing the Ghanaian international.

Kudus has been linked with a move away from West Ham this summer, with Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur all reportedly keen on the 24-year-old. However, the Hammers have already rejected an approach from Chelsea.

Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax two years ago and has since become a standout performer in the Premier League.
Speaking to reporters after Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Palmeiras in the Club World Cup, Maresca said:
“He’s a West Ham player, so I can’t say anything. The only thing I can say is I’ve known Kudus since his time at Ajax.”
