The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed Egypt as the new host for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, following Cote d’Ivoire’s withdrawal as the host this week.
The Egyptian Football Association and the Egyptian government had previously submitted a bid to host the tournament. Egypt had also hosted the competition in 2023.

CAF has announced that the tournament will proceed as planned, with matches scheduled to take place from Sunday, 27 April to Sunday, 18 May.
