Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has credited his team’s blistering start as the key to their emphatic 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final.
The Blues sealed the win with three first-half goals, including a brace from Cole Palmer and a strike from new signing Joao Pedro.

Speaking to DAZN after the match, Maresca said:
“For me, we won the game in the first ten minutes. We set the tempo early and played the way we wanted. We were very good from the start.
With the weather conditions, it’s not easy to maintain that level for 90 minutes, but I think the game was decided in those first ten minutes.”
