Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has denied reports that she was subjected to physical or domestic abuse by her former spouse.
According to a Gossipinfo story from last week, Biola revealed that she and her husband, who have been apart since April of last year, have made the decision to co-parent their son in a responsible and amicable manner.
Addressing those who might feel disappointed, she sincerely apologised and expressed her wish that her marriage worked, but it’s best to stay alive to tell the story. Urging her fans to keep them in their prayers, she pointed out the irony at which she goes about making other people happy, but her pillow had been drenched with her own tears almost every night for the past 14 months.

Taking to her Instagram page to re-edit the post made announcing her divorce, Biola made it known that her ex never laid a finger on her. She stated that they never had physical abuse of violent issue.
The podcaster admonished netizens to learn to be kind to people as they have no idea what others are going through.
“My Ex husband, Seyi has never laid a finger on me and I never did as well. We never ever had any physical abuse or v!olent issue from either of us. Let us learn to be kind to people. You have no idea what others are going through until they say it”.
Their separation came less than two years after they welcomed their child. Recall that in 2023, after many years of waiting, Biola Bayo welcomed her first child in her 40s after several failed IVFs. She narrated her painful journey to experience motherhood, revealing how she had a failed IVF, one cancelled surrogate circle, and three failed surrogate attempts within two years before she was blessed with her son.
