It has been rumored that Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the traditional ruler and Ooni of Ife, will wed Titilayo Ashabi, his seventh wife, to the throne.
Ogunwusi has been in a number of well-known partnerships. When they were both teenagers in Ibadan, he and Omolara Olatubosun welcomed their first child, Adeola Aanuolouwapo Ogunwusi, in May 1994.
Although they were never married, they co-parent Adeola. In a November 2021 interview, Omolara revealed that Ogunwusi was an absentee father during the early years of their child’s life.

In 2008, Ogunwusi married Adebukola Bombata, but the couple separated in 2016. He then married Zaynab Otiti Obanor from Benin in March 2016. Their marriage ended in divorce, finalized in August 2017, after Zaynab filed for divorce in 2017.
In October 2018, Ogunwusi married Prophetess Morenike Naomi Oluwaseyi. However, in December 2021, Naomi announced their separation on Instagram. This claim was later contradicted by the palace, though Naomi remains active in public life.
Between September and October 2022, the Ooni married six women. The first, Mariam Anako, an Ebira native from Kogi State, was wed on 6 September 2022. On 7 September 2022, he married Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda, an Ondo State indigene. Tobi Phillips, from Okitipupa, Ondo State, became his third wife on 9 October 2022.
On 14 October 2022, he married Ashley Afolashade Adegoke, a princess from Ile-Ife, followed by another Ile-Ife princess, Ronke Ademiluyi, as his fifth wife on 20 October 2022. Lastly, on 24 October 2022, Asake Temitope Morenike Adesegun became his sixth wife.
However, some speculations flying across the social media showed that the Ooni of Ife is planning to marry another wife Titilayo Ashabi as his seventh wife.
