Arsenal midfielder Jorginho is in advanced negotiations to join Brazilian side Flamengo, with a deal nearing completion.
The 33-year-old, who was approached by the club back in December, is now close to agreeing a free transfer as Flamengo step up their pursuit.
Jorginho, currently sidelined with a punctured lung sustained in a match against Brentford last month, was born in Brazil but represents Italy internationally, having earned 57 caps.

He joined Arsenal from Chelsea in 2023 for £12 million and has made 78 appearances for the Gunners, including 26 this season, scoring once.
