New Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti has announced his first squad since taking charge, omitting several high-profile names, including Neymar Jr., Rodrygo, Ederson, and Joelinton.
The squad was revealed ahead of Brazil’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Paraguay.

Neymar’s absence comes as he continues to recover from injury and struggles to regain top form. However, Ancelotti emphasized that the Santos forward remains an important part of his long-term plans.

“Neymar is out of the list as he’s just returned from injury. I spoke to Ney and we’ve agreed on this,” Ancelotti told reporters. “I trust Neymar, I count on him, and we want him to be in peak condition for the World Cup.”
He added that Rodrygo, Joelinton, Éderson, and Militão were also left out due to injury concerns.
