Veteran Yoruba actor Tito Harrison talked about a life-threatening medical crisis that almost took his life, revealing that he went into a coma for three days after receiving a liver problem diagnosis During an honest interview on the “Talk to B Podcast” with Biola Adebayo.
According to Harrison, the ordeal began when he experienced a complete loss of appetite, accompanied by severe nausea.
Initially unaware of the seriousness of his condition, he sought medical attention, only to be informed by doctors that he was suffering from a liver issue. As his condition deteriorated, he was later hospitalized, where he slipped into a three-day coma.
During this time, he was forced to sell nearly all his possessions, including land, vehicles, and an uncompleted house, just to manage his medical expenses. Even his wife’s car, he noted, was sold in the struggle to raise funds for treatment.
Harrison’s health crisis not only took a toll on his finances but also affected his personal relationships. He disclosed that some people around his wife began to suggest that he was a source of misfortune in her life.
Despite the emotional and financial toll, Harrison expressed gratitude for surviving the ordeal, likening the experience to the biblical story of Job, whom God tested through trials.

His words: “I was supporting a lot of upcoming actors until God decided to test me—just like He tested Job in the Bible. It started when I began to feel nauseous and couldn’t eat anything. I completely lost my appetite. When I went to the hospital, the doctor said I had a liver problem. It got worse to the point where I fell into a coma for three days.”
