Actress Bimpe Akintunde, better known by her stage as Wasila Coded, has talked candidly about the terrifying experiences she had during her pregnancy, including the many death revelations she received from people who were unaware of her pregnancy.
In an Instagram post on Friday, Bimpe said her pregnancy journey was marked by constant health scares, beginning with a low blood pressure diagnosis in January.
“I was in and out of the hospital on emergency treatment about six times during this pregnancy,” she wrote.
“So many scary dreams and death revelations, even from people that didn’t see me nor were aware I was pregnant.”

Bimpe recalled collapsing on fellow actor Kenny George while filming The Return of Sambala in Ikorodu in February, before rushing herself to her clinic in the area.
She said that on July 17, during her routine Thursday clinic visit, she decided to sleep over after feeling weak from treatment.
The next morning, doctors told her she was ready to deliver.
With gospel song ‘Omo Oba Ma Beru’ playing in the background, she went into labour.

“Contraction no be anybody mate o,” she joked in Yoruba, describing the intensity of the moment.
Within three hours, she delivered her baby naturally without Caesarean section and complications, marking what the clinic recorded as its fastest labour of the year.
“After almost 10 years… Mom and daughter doing fine. Dear God, it can only be you.
Alhamdulilai Robil Alameen,” she wrote.
Her account comes amid speculation over a viral TikTok video that some claimed was about her child’s father.
Bimpe has since clarified that the clip was taken out of context from a live session where she discussed a fake account impersonating her.
The revelation also comes as fans notice signs of a possible rift between Akintunde and her husband, Yousuph Ganiyu.
The pair have unfollowed each other on Instagram, deleted their photos together and Yousuph has been absent from her posts since the child’s birth in July.
The couple tied the knot in June 2023 in a Nikah ceremony and Bimpe once described him as a man who had been intentional about her “long before we met.”
