Sesko has spent the last two seasons in Germany with RB Leipzig, joining from their sister club Salzburg in 2023.
During that time, he netted 39 goals and provided eight assists in 87 appearances across all competitions, including 27 goals in 64 Bundesliga matches.

Currently, Sesko is the leading goalscorer under the age of 23 in Europe’s top five leagues, sitting one ahead of Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham and five clear of Florian Wirtz, who moved to Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen this summer in a deal worth an initial £100m.

One of the fastest strikers in the Bundesliga, Sesko clocked a top speed of 35.7 km/h. His 6ft 5in frame also made him a dominant aerial presence, winning 57.4% of his aerial duels — the highest success rate among strikers in the league.
Over the past two seasons, only six forwards scored more Bundesliga goals, despite Sesko ranking just 16th for expected goals, 14th for shots, and 22nd for touches in the opposition box.
A long-range threat as well, 36.8% of his shots and 23.1% of his goals last season came from outside the box — both higher than any Bundesliga striker with 12 or more goals.
Last season also saw him develop into a more complete forward. While his touches inside the box dropped from 17% to 9.7%, he became more involved in wider areas and deeper midfield positions.
