Al-Ittihad sporting director, Ramon Planes, has expressed confidence that Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior could eventually make a move to Saudi Arabia.
Speaking to Marca, Planes did not dismiss the possibility of the Brazilian winger joining the Saudi Pro League, highlighting that Vinicius fits perfectly into the league’s long-term vision.

“I don’t rule it out. It’s part of the plan to become one of the most powerful leagues in the world,” Planes said. “Vinicius could be part of that vision—bringing in players at a key moment in their careers. He has everything going for him.”

Vinicius, whose contract with Real Madrid runs until 2027, has reportedly hit a snag in extension talks due to wage demands, sparking speculation that Los Blancos might consider a sale next summer amid growing interest from the Middle East.
Planes, formerly Barcelona’s sporting director between 2018 and 2021, believes the 24-year-old forward possesses all the qualities needed to succeed in the SPL.
Vinicius has so far made 322 appearances for Real Madrid across all competitions, registering 106 goals and 83 assists.
