Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is prepared to sanction the exit of at least six players as he looks to reshape his squad for the upcoming campaign.
Among those reportedly on the chopping block are first-team regulars John Stones and Ilkay Gundogan. According to The Athletic, 31-year-old Stones is available for transfer, while Gundogan—who only returned to the Etihad last year from Barcelona—could also be heading for the exit.

Despite being active in both the winter and summer transfer windows following a disappointing league campaign behind Liverpool and Arsenal, Guardiola is keen to streamline his squad and work with a more compact group.

Midfielder Mateo Kovačić is also being linked with a move away, as City look to reduce squad depth.
Additionally, youngsters Nico O’Reilly, Claudio Echeverri, and Oscar Bobb are all being considered for loan or permanent moves as part of the squad reshuffle.
