Napoli have reportedly demanded Rasmus Højlund and £33.6 million from Manchester United in exchange for striker Victor Osimhen during the upcoming summer transfer window.
United are eager to strengthen their attack under new manager Rúben Amorim following a disappointing 2024/25 campaign that ended without silverware.

The Red Devils are also in the race to sign Liam Delap, currently with Ipswich Town. The 22-year-old forward is available this summer due to a £30 million relegation release clause in his contract. However, Delap is understood to favour a move to Chelsea over a switch to Old Trafford.

With that in mind, United are weighing up other options. According to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, the club has intensified efforts to sign Osimhen, with director of football Matt Hargreaves travelling to Italy last week for talks with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and sporting director Giovanni Manna.
Osimhen, 26, has a £63 million release clause in his contract, applicable only to clubs outside of Italy. Currently on loan at Galatasaray, his deal is set to expire in June, and the Nigerian striker has yet to decide on his next destination.
