Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League Player of the Season.
The Egyptian star has enjoyed a stellar campaign, scoring 28 goals and providing 18 assists to help Liverpool clinch their second league title.

Salah becomes just the fifth player in history to win the award twice, having first claimed it in the 2017/18 season.

The 32-year-old is also on track to secure another Golden Boot, leading Newcastle’s Alexander Isak by five goals ahead of the final matchday.
With 46 goal involvements so far, Salah stands on the verge of breaking the all-time record of 47 in a 38-game season, held by Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole. He’ll have the chance to surpass that when Liverpool face Crystal Palace at Anfield.
Earlier this month, Salah was also named the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year for the third time.
