The mother of the late Yoruba legendary actor Musiliu Ajikanle, well known by his stage name Buffalo, has shared her ultimate desire with actor and filmmaker Kunle Afod and made a heartbreaking plea for his unflinching support.
In an emotional moment, Mama Buffalo, as she is fondly called, told Kunle Afod, “I’m giving my entire life to you. If I die, I won’t want them to bury me without you being there because you are the only one that has been helping me.” The grieving mother shared old photographs of her two late sons—Buffalo and his younger sibling—while recalling the pain she has endured.
She expressed her current devotion to God, saying she has chosen to serve Him with all her life. “If my children were alive, I wouldn’t be suffering,” she added, her voice filled with sorrow. Musiliu Ajikanle passed away in 2017 after battling stroke for several years. During that time, it was his mother and wife who took care of him tirelessly. Mama Buffalo revealed that she spent everything she had trying to get him back on his feet but all efforts were in vain.p
