The Inter Miami forward shared a celebratory post from Barcelona’s official Instagram account, which marked the La Liga trophy win, and added a message that read: “Congratulations.”
Messi, who left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 after his contract expired, expressed his support for the club following their 28th La Liga title victory.

Barcelona clinched the title on Thursday after defeating Espanyol 2-0 in the 36th match of the Spanish top-flight season. This victory completes a historic treble for the Catalan club, who had already claimed the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey earlier in the campaign.
While Barcelona enjoyed domestic success, they were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League by Inter Milan earlier in the season.
