Deola, the daughter of veteran Yoruba film actress Jumoke George, has been on the phone with her mother via video call after the veteran expressed concern about her whereabouts and revealed that the people who took her to Mali had threatened to prevent her from returning to Nigeria.
According to the video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Biola Adebayo Ent while sharing a video call with her mother, Deola claimed that those who took her to Mali have told her that would rather kill her than allow her to go back to Nigeria to reunite with her family.
According to her statement in the video call, she said, “Those who took me to Mali said they will rather kill me than allow me go to Nigeria. Those people have threatened me that they will make sure that I don’t return back to Nigeria alive, and that’s why I’m afraid to come back to Nigeria and I can’t sleep for a number of days now.”
