Chelsea have booked their place in the Europa Conference League final, where they will take on Spanish side Real Betis later this month.
The Blues sealed their spot with a 1-0 win over Djurgarden at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, completing a 5-1 aggregate victory. Enzo Maresca’s side had already put one foot in the final after a dominant 4-1 first-leg performance in Sweden.
With qualification virtually assured, Maresca made 10 changes to his starting lineup, resting key players ahead of Sunday’s crucial Premier League clash against Newcastle, which could impact their Champions League hopes.

In the other semi-final, Real Betis edged past Fiorentina thanks to an extra-time winner from Abde Ezzalzouli. Betis had won the first leg 2-1 in Spain, and although they opened the scoring in Italy through Antony, Fiorentina fought back to level the tie before Ezzalzouli struck late.
