Elegbeje Ado, a seasoned Yoruba Nollywood actor, has talked candidly about his extraordinary encounter with divine visions in school, stating that it was the start of his spiritual journey.
Speaking in an interview on Kunle Afod’s YouTube channel, the actor shared how his ability to see into the future of his classmates first manifested while he was still in school.
Ado explained that his visions began to occur when he slept in class, a seemingly ordinary activity that soon transformed into an extraordinary spiritual experience.
According to the actor, these visions were not random, but instead carried specific messages about the lives of his classmates. He described how he began to have visions about the future of his peers, one of the first being about a classmate, Taiwo Abati.
The actor foresaw that Abati’s water bottle would break, leading to an unpleasant encounter with her father, who would reportedly punish her by denying her feeding allowance. After sharing this vision with her, the prediction came true, and this was the moment that marked the beginning of a pattern.
Over time, more and more of his classmates would approach Ado, asking if he had seen anything about them in his visions. He recalls telling them what God showed him, often offering insights into their futures.

This continued for six months, with Ado growing more aware of his gift. Initially, he saw these experiences as a mere coincidence, believing it to be a random talent that he had developed. However, his perspective changed when he heard a deeper calling.
He said: “Whenever I sleep in class, God usually show me visions of what will happen to my classmates. It started with a girl named Taiwo Abati. God showed me that her water bottle would break, her father would beat her, and not give her feeding allowance. I told Taiwo, and she thought it was a joke until it
happened. So during lunch breaks, my classmates would come to me asking if I saw any visions about them, and whenever God showed me something about them, I told them. This went on for about six months. I thought it was just a random talent until God spoke to me about it and told me to intercede for people in prayers.”
