Popular Yoruba movie actress Biola Fowosere has explained why she has refused to have an affair with any actor in the Yoruba movie industry, while also noting how her certain stars have treated her cruelly when she refused to have an affair with them.
According to the video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Ojopagogo TV during an interview, she has never have an affair with any actor in the movie industry because she is loyal to her husband.
Fowosere emphasized that she did not engage in any form of sexual activity to advance her career. She made it clear that while advances from men are common, they are not a requirement for success.
According to her, women in the industry often face pressures and temptations, but the choice to maintain one’s dignity or otherwise lies entirely with the individual.
Fowosere explained that success in the Yoruba movie scene is not guaranteed through illicit means and that many actresses, like herself, have carved a niche for themselves based purely on their skills, discipline, and professionalism.
According to Biola Fowosere, she said, “I have never slept with any actor for a movie role because I’m very loyal to my husband. It is normal for a man to ask a lady to have an affair with him, but the lady is in the right position to reject or agree. Sometimes if I don’t agree to sleep with some actors, they usually give me lesser movie roles.”
